An honors service organization. A member of the National Thespian Organization.  

 

How do I get into ITS?

 

Interested students must have 100 hours of service to the theater, 50 of which must come from Enloe Theatre. 

Applicants will submit their 100 hours and a short essay in the May of the current school year.
If inducted, they will gain lifetime membership to the International Thespian Society, membership to Troupe #5762,
the ability to attend the NC Thespian Festival in the spring, and nine free copies of Dramatics magazine.
 

For each increment of 100 hours of service students receive special Thespian insignia such as a letters, pins, stars, and bars.

 

***Hours outside of Enloe Theatre count, but only for half credit. At least 50 of those hours must come from Enloe Theatre to be considered for ITS!
 

 

How Can I Get My 100 Hours?

• Act in shows (at Enloe or outside theatres)

• Join Enloe production crews

• Attend Tech Saturdays

• Stage manage or assistant stage manage an Enloe show

• Work a show for tech theatre (band concerts, club inductions, etc.)

• Volunteer to usher (at Enloe or outside theatres)

• Volunteer at ITS events (Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat, Habitat For Humanity)

 

 

Things We've Done:

• Attend the NC Thespian annually

• Volunteer at events like the Marbles Kid's Museum Holiday Party & dressing it mascot suits for a children's event

• Collected canned food items for people in need
